CARE
All care is taken to send out each piece in perfect condition. Each Unknown Carpet is individually rolled and packed in a thick layer of cotton cloth, followed by 100% recyclable plastic made out of rice water to protect it from any liquid damages during the shipping.
Unknown Carpets is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged in the post. All orders are shipped securely with one of our shipping partners DHL, FedEx, or UPS.
All the rugs Unknown Carpets manufacturers are entirely hand made, therefore, of the highest quality and durability. With proper care and maintenance practices, your rug will enjoy a long-lasting lifespan. Rug cleaning is not complicated and can be done without spending a lot of time or money.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
We suggest vacuuming your rug at least once a week, respecting the direction of the fibre. Above all, remember to use the vacuum cleaner at medium power and do not use heads with teeth or rollers that could damage the rug. Please avoid taking rugs to the dry cleaners, in case it’s necessary, please make sure the space specialises in the care of rugs.
STAINS
We highly recommend not to use any detergent or strong chemical to take off the stains. In case of a spill or stain, please act quickly to prevent stains from drying out. Avoid rubbing a cloth on the rug, these might loosen the fibre from its foundation.
Before applying a solution, we recommend carrying out a small test on a corner of your rug. If all is well, please proceed to apply the solution to the stain. Clean from the edge of the stain to the centre, so as not to spread dirt to clean areas.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
If you are not fully satisfied with your product, it can be exchanged free of charge (excluding postage and handling costs) for another item or a credit note. The piece must be returned to us within 14 days of original purchase. Returned pieces must be in original condition, unworn and unwashed, with a purchase receipt and original packaging. Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
Please return pieces in their original packaging or a sturdy box. Do not send the product without a protective layer such as plastic as this violates our return/repair policy and will be returned to the customer at their expense.

All bespoke pieces are final sale. Each piece is individually hand-made just for you therefore exchanges, returns, and/or alterations are not possible. By purchasing online or paying the deposit and/or balance of the invoice you are agreeing to the terms and conditions herein. A bespoke piece is anything that has been altered from the original design, size, yarn selection, colours used, and finishing as per your needs.
